Speech therapy
Your child will work one on one with a speech language pathologist to improve their speech and/or language skills and maximize their communication potential. We want your child to be able to communicate clearly and confidently at home, at school, and in the community. We provide services for speech sound delays, expressive and receptive language disorders, and written language disorders (reading and writing) for children ages 3-18.
FUNDING
We currently accept Blue Cross of Idaho, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Regence of Idaho), Cigna, Kootenai Care Network , Hometown North Insurance, Idaho Medicaid, Idaho Medicaid Plus, Idaho Medicaid Advantage, Medicaid Advantage Secure Blue and private pay clients. A sliding fee scale is available for demonstrated financial need cash pay clients only. We are in the process of contracting with additional private insurances and will update here as they become available. In the meantime, we can bill your insurance out of network if we are not yet “in network”.
Scheduling
Services are provided by appointment only. Parents are required to stay on site either in the waiting room or in the therapy room for the duration of the evaluation and treatment session. Parents are strongly encouraged to be active participants in the speech therapy session to facilitate practice at home and in the community. Failure of guardian to remain onsite will result in dismissal from therapy.
