Our Services

  • Our special interest! We love the challenge that comes with treating each individual speech sound disorder. We provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for childhood speech sound disorders

  • When necessary, low tech and/ or high tech means of AAC may be recommended to improve the child's ability to communicate effectively as they complete speech sound therapy

  • Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of oral language delays/disorders for children ages 3+. This may include difficulty with narrative language (story telling), late talking (language delay), or difficulty understanding what is said to them (language comprehension).

  • Comprehensive Evaluation and Treatment for language and literacy delays in the areas of reading and writing. Children who experience speech sound delays as toddlers and into the school age years often experience additional difficulty learning to read and write when they reach school age. We are happy to help bridge this gap and will ensure your child receives a comprehensive treatment plan to help them reach their goals!

What do we treat?

We have a special interest in treating speech sound disorders, and the unique challenge that comes with assessing and treating each individual child’s speech delay. We also provide speech therapy services in the areas of expressive and receptive language delay, as well as delays in reading and writing which often co-occur with speech sound disorders. Your child will complete a comprehensive evaluation with a certified speech language pathologist which may include: standardized assessment measures, an informal speech/language sample, parent interview, child interview (when applicable), and oral mechanism evaluation (when applicable) in order to develop a personalized treatment plan for your child.

Why do we specialize in childhood speech and language disorders?

Speech Language Pathologists have a very wide scope of practice across the lifespan including: infant/childhood feeding and swallowing, stuttering, speech disorders, language disorders, cognition, social communication, and voice therapy. By specializing in just speech and language disorders this allows us to focus our continuing education efforts and build focused clinical expertise in this specific area of need allowing us to provide the highest quality care for your child. At this time we do not provide care for: stuttering, feeding, swallowing, cognition, or patients over the age of 18.
